whats up honda - tech ... most of yall should know me most of you dont ... couple months back i had owned 93 civic that had starting problems... well due to the fact i couldnt fix the car and needed the money i sold the car for dumb cheap but now i regret selling the car.. but now its september 14,2008 and i was browsing around craigslist.org and i came across a 94 honda accord 4dr sedan for stupid cheap .. guy wanted 650 only thing wrong with the car is that it hit a crub on the right side which caused the passenger door and rear passenger door to smash in alil bit .. but its fixable lucky i have a good friend working in autobody .. the car is a 1994 4dr ex with 2.2 vtec motor.. only thing i find wrong with the car is the high mileage its at 266,414 but the speed o meter is reading at 95,xxx he replaced it with a new one .. i have no clue why.but car is in kinda good shape besides the 2 doors all messed up i guess anyone who had a chance to jump on a good working 94 accord with little or no problem would buy it i think it was worth it but.. my question is now due to all the high mileage i know i have to change the motor some time but next year i want to after the winter but i want to know how to keep the motor running good so it wont blow on me due with all the mileage below is a pictures of the side door .. you tell me if it was worth 650 dollars. the lights and bumper was taken off to take off the passenger door ..

 

All depends on the way you drive it man my 95 accord had 200,000 on it and I drove the living crap out of it as in I did up too 130 mph atleast two times a day for about 5 months averege speed of 80 and the only thing that went wrong was the water pump went out but that goes back to PM but you should know how to keep the car runing drive it right keep the oil change air filter ect and it would last you for anorther 200,000

 

You're going to need a bumper(i cant tell from the pics), bumper cover, lip, grill, headlights, all the mounting crap, a new hood, probably a release cable, doors, have the body straightened, door molding/trim, front mudflaps?, hard to tell but maybe inner fender well plastics up front, side skirts,

I'd pass on this one. [freak]ing thing isn't even drivable as it is. And the ******** who is selling it is lying to you. I've never seen a curb push a car upward and in so badly in my life... is that how the waist level dent got in the passenger side rear? or the scraping to the rear drivers side bumper cover? There's alot of mud and dirt in there aswell... looks like the douchebag ran over a sod house. Just look at the damn thing there's no way he hit a cub, it smashed in the side of his car, added a dent a few feet higher than possible, dented the hood, and then made the front of the car fall off.

Seller is lying to you. That bitch looks like it was either intentionally abused or in some form of an accident.

 

Dude is obviously lying to you. I would give him 200 dollars max for it. Take it or leave it or I'd slap him over the head a couple of times. I have no patience for a dude who takes me as a fool. Anyway looks like that accord got gangbanged by a herd of Bison. That is not a curb damaged car.

That damage may have bent the frame of the car as well. I wouldn't buy it and if you bought it I'd donate it and use it as a tax write-off.

 

BTW you are going to need a new hood, forget about popping those dents out. I haven't even see the interior but judging on the outside I wouldn't be surprised with those sloppy "hit a curb" driving skills. Ditch it !

 

No Deal!

If you look around, you can find a Mid to High mileage LX or EX model, mild (dings and dents) or no body damage for the same price you are going to end up spending on this thing.

lolll.. yeah it does look like **** but what the guy told me was his niece was driving the car and she missed her exit and tried to exit off quick and smacked the curb or some **** he said.. but the lights and bumper is in the trunk.. the good thing is i already have a hood and my friend does auto body work... so he told me to just get 2 doors and side skirt and he gonna pull the middle door frame out so the doors can be put back on.. so basically i aint paying s**t for this.. but if i had to take it to a body shop i would be paying around 2 grand for that and it wouldnt be worth it.. only reason why i bought it is because my friend said its fixable and i wont have to pay for fixing it... well i will just have to wait and see what this ugly **** is gonna end up looking when its complete.. i will upload more pictures next week...

 

for 650... i wouldnt do it, you can fines a nicer one for around the same, maybe a lil more ate an auction

I think the car can look very good once it's done.

If your friend isnt charging you anything, then go for it. In anycase, the car is already bought. Nothing you can do now.

yeah thats a big oops i did .. well i bought it for only 400. yes the car does look like **** and i agree with you all but sometimes you have to think outside the box.. the only thing thats good on the car is the interior its mint .. who ever drove or owned this car kept the interior very clean but trash the living **** out of the body ]= .. more pics will be uploaded soon.

 

thanks .. only reason why i bought it cause of the motor it still runs and drives.. first day i went to go look at it i made sure the motor wasn't knocking no engine leaks,no CEL i checked around the motor to see if the head gaskets wasn't leaking with oil and nothing i was surprised for a beat up car like that the motor and interior was kept clean.. and yeah it has 200 and something thousand miles but im going to replace the motor with h22 next year or if its possible drop a k20 motor which i have laying around in my back yard [= ..o took some pictures of the car the day i took it home i was more into the car then taken pictures i completely forgot all i have is 2 motor pics and back shot of the car.
