Default skuk2 intake mani..???

i was told that if you hook up a p28 ecu on a b18c1 and the secondary butterflies stay open constantly you will lose hp,so is it the same if you hook up a skunk 2 manifold where ther is no need for the secondaries??

First of all, you don't lose HP is the IAB is open all the time. You just lose low end and midrange power. The same is true of the Skunk2. But you gain top end power compared to a stock GSR manifold with the IAB open.

let's put it this way....there's a noticeable difference when you install the chipped P28 and the Skunk2 mani

There is an easy solution, GET BOTH! I got my ecu before my Skunk2(mainly to eliminate codes and the ecu is easier to install ) The car felt fine with just the ecu and felt better when I put the Skunk2 on a few weeks later.

if your car sees the strip or a expert @ road race where you can keep your rpm's up, other wise, kinda pointless to get the skunk2/ITR IM since u get all the power @ 7krpm +
