Default Bumper Lights

So I found this and don't know if anyone knows about it or not but I thought it was pretty cool

Just modded my bumper signal lights into driving lights/signal lights, on my 90 crx si, any ef is the same.

Very easy took me an hour total from start to finish including lots of testing/double checking and solid electrical connection taping.

First, get two eg corner light bulb/plug and pigtail.

Next, pull off your front bumper,
Pull off your corner lights
Cut off bumper signal plugs.
Strip the ends of the two wires,
From your front corner light, strip a small portion of the red wire so you can make a connection there.
Take a 24 inch piece of similar wire and connect one end to that red wire you prepped.
Take the eg plug and connect your black and green bumper signal lights to the black and green lights on the plug. I just twisted mine
Next, connect the jumper wire from the red corner light wire to the red wire on the eg plug.

install the bulb and test to make sure your bumper signal now acts a driving light, make sure no connections touch/short.

If they test out good, wrap all your connection with good quality electrical tape and be liberal, make good connections and reinforce the pigtails with extra tape. Try to make them water proof.

Do this to each side, reinstall your bumper and you're done. I learned this from the crxcommunity.com forum

Just snag a rear tail light socket that uses a dual filament set up and strip it to fit the socket of the bumper light and wire it up as you mentioned.

Any Socket will work just make sure they fit in your bumper lights and are for a Dual Filament bulb
