some one tried to jack my car/pop my hood like 2nights ago but guess they messed up cus all they did was snap my hood release cable now i gotta use pliers :"(
well i got the new cable and dunno how to go about this...
whats the easiest way to get it on? should i take off my bumper?

Bumper off, fender off, and the rad support out... easy but time consuming

 

you don't need to take off your bumper...when my cable broke i was able to open the hood by reaching up with a long screwdriver from underneath. you move where the cable is supposed to be attached and it will pop open

 

the easy way out is to just use the release if that is all that is broken, dont use the new cable, just seperate the cable from the release and just use the actual release that bolts to the interior car.

thats the lazy way, but its a good idea to replace the cable as well since the old cable becomes weak and stretched.

to do this properly you need to remove the drivers side fender, as well as the front bumper etc as mentioned
