Default 2003 Honda Accord won't start won't do anything

I drove my car to work and back today with no problems. Let it sit for about an hour got in it to leave and it won't do anything. Turn the key and nothing, doesn't even try to turn over. I don't think that it is the batter because the dome light comes on and some lights on the dash board come on. The weird thing is that the lights on the dashboard flicker on and off and the cd changer acts like it is shuffling disks. Is this an ignition switch problem or do you think that it could simply be a fuse. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated. The bad thing is that I can't even get the car in neutral so I am not sure how I will get it out of the garage if I have to tow it some where.

Thanks again for any and all help in advance.

Could be a weak battery. Like it has enough to power lights' but not start.

I think I had a similar problem to the OP this summer, and it turned out to be a bad battery with a blown cell or two. Basically, I tried starting it after sitting for 15 minutes, and every light in the car was dead, I had pretty much 0 volts coming from the battery. I finally got it pop started and drove it home, meanwhile the power was cutting for a fraction of a second at a time, and when I got home, it died whenever I went down the steep decline into my garage. Also, after the initial popstart, when I turned the key on, the lights on the cluster kept fluttering on and off, and when I tried starting it I couldn't even hear the starter clicking. I thought it was some kind of electrical gremlin, but Autozone confirmed that the battery was complete trash. I swear these cars must have something in the electrical circuit that fries the battery, because the one that I replaced wasn't the stock Honda battery and it is a late 05 model that didn't get bought initially til late April 05, making the car a little over 3 years old
