anyone felt a big difference in the hondata reflash?

Default anyone felt a big difference in the hondata reflash?

i was planning on getting my reflash done, or just getting a k-pro if there is one for the 06 civic si's. just wanted to know how its feels to have the new reflash so i can compare it to other ecu routes?

well i think a 15hp/5tq difference at 4500 is pretty noticeable. lol

K-pro isn't out for our cars yet. It's in the works though. Give it time.

Reflash's main benefit is MIDRANGE power. You won't get much more up top just by adding the reflash but you'll get a ton of added mid-range giddyup. And you have to have either an intake or RH (or both) to see the benefits of a reflash. You'll lose power in certain rpm ranges if you apply the reflash to a stock Si.

By the way....you couldn't have asked this question in conjunction with your DCRH thread??

might be a dumb question but i have heard alot of people talking about a reflash an i was wondering exactly what that was?? sorry if this question annoys anyone here

the reflash is the shiznit! i put it on my car and fell in love with my car ALL OVER AGAIN... but i gave the car to my brother, who cares absolutly nothing about modding cars so now im selling it.

I've had the reflash for about a month now and like Daniel06SI
says,you love the car all over again...Lots of midrange,little to no rev hang,no 1st gear hesitance and loving the sooner vtec engagement...
A MUST HAVE...

Minimum intake but from experience, I would recommend at least an intake <u>and</u> header. Again, check the link above for more info.

I see no reason why the flywheel should be affected. Regarding upgraded cams: There's no reliable tuning option as of yet (or rather affordable tuning option that is ) so you may not get the most out of your new cams. 8thcivic.com has a few TSX cammed SIs running on the stock/reflashed map with decent results. AFR may not be correct from my understand but don't take my word on it.
