OK i bought a cluster from a local guy, and do not know the year it came out of.

after reviewing this pinout grid:


the wireing is different between the first half and second half of the year model....

so, not being able to locate on the cluster itself any form of marking of the year of manufacture, im hoping there is a definite visual difference between them...


oh and i have a Type S cluster, if that makes any difference...
