i have a 90 dx converted to obd1 with a y7 eagle/vitara setup on a z6 skunk2 head, rc 550s, walbro fuel pump, front traction bar. ran into a apexi ihi ballbearing turbo kit with about 3k miles on it for about $700 (this turbo spools very fast). its going to be tuned on hondata s300. hoping to get around 250whp. my question is, is it a good idea to run vtec with a fast spooling turbo like this?

what are you going to be using the car for? and which IHI is it apexi offered a few of them
