1991 Accord dies in second gear.
1991 Accord 5-speed. Got the starter solenoid fixed. Now, the car died 1 mile from home. I was able to roll it in a nearby parking lot. Scared the heck out of me. Seemed like the speedo dropped while car was running then engine died. Tried to start it and it started on the 4th try. Tried to drive it and it died again as soon as it started rolling in second gear. Tried to drive it again and I can only drive it in first gear at 2500 rpm. As soon as I shift to second, it dies. So I just parked it in the parking lot.
Am I correct to assume it could be the vehicle speed sensor? No check engine light ON. Let me know. I have not pulled any codes yet. Thanks.

I checked the vehicle speed sensor and was not getting 5V output on the orange signal wire while spinning the front wheel with ignition ON. It has 12V supply at the yellow wire and black wires.
I changed it out with one from the junkyard and it is back on the road again. 320k miles and going.
