Default turn signal auto off

anyone know what to check if your turn signal won't automatically shut off after turning?

When i turn right it auto shuts off, but when i turn left i have to flip the lever off.

it is the turn signal mechanism not the steerign wheel. there is a limit switch that gets triggered to turn it off when you rotate the wheel back that direction.

Just replaced mine. There are two metal tabs on the mechanism that fit into two slots on the steering wheel. Make sure that you have them lined up. The mechanism should just float inside, if it wasn't lined up you may have smashed it and broken the plastic tabs that hold the metal plate. That's what happened to mine. If it is broken you will most likely have to replace it. I got mine from the local junk yard. The one in my 4 door ef is the same as my hatch and I would guess it is the same for the crx.
