so i had this wideband o2 sensor on my civic for not very long its praticly new.. well its been sitting in my garage for a year or so.. i hooked it up today and it goes from 14.7 and up to lean after 30 seconds and stays lean.. all i hooked up was the ground and the power wire.. it powers up wen i put car in on position.. the o2 is hooked up about 10 inchs from my header.. its not turbo or anything so i dont think i gets to hot that fast. any thing i could do to test it?

 

does the plx have a recalibration setup?

 

Hey the Sensor is bad......Replace the Wideband O2 sensor and it will work perfect. I had the same problem and i posted on the PLX forums and everybody told me to replace it....Its a common problem with the Bosch o2 sensor. Hope it helps

 

ok i replaced it and same problem.. what does yours do as soon as u start ur car?? and how long does it take to warm up
