99 accord wont go in reverse

all other gears work fine, just for reverse. cj joints are good. just putting into reverse, and I dont have alot of mile, 144k miles, I'd be surprised to need a rebuild. any other ideas?

if it moves forward and you can hear it engage for reverse, your trans is toast and it's time for a rebuild
