Default PLUG AND PLAY RESISTOR BOX !!! Updated w/ pics

With all the little cool things that have been popping up lately, can some one from these same creative shops please make a plug and play resistor box setup using an oem honda resistor box and the dead plug. Just sounded like a cool idea...is this possible?

Edit: Got the plug that fits from an obd2 to obd1 distributor jumper harness, along with the plug that goes to the resistor box, and came up with this. Soldered and heat shrinked, then loomed it up after I took the pic. Maybe I should start selling them

It only takes 1 jumper wire to make a resistor box plug and play.

I depinned my own and used a different connector to plug and play a 91 crx si resistor box into a '94 eg Was uber simple and only soldered 1 wire, which you can just use a simple connector there as well if wanted.

Where can I find a plug that will plug into the dead plug? I can wire the rest, just dont want to hack my off my oem harness plug. This will be the 8 pin obd1 plug.

I'm using the plug that is used for the condensor fan, high psi switch and compressor plug. Not all the plugs, there is one plug that has all these wires in it.
The plug is located between the passenger shock tower and passenger head light. I'm going to depin and put all yellow wires in it, then solder. Clean it up and will look pretty much oem

Since i'm not using a/c, i don't need the plug.

yes. 88-91 dpfi dizzy plugs.

what i have on my car is the resistor box with the stock green plug, and 2 old dpfi dizzy plugs. one shorted, and the other soldered to the dead plug. i dont need to switch anymore, but if i did, just plug in a shorted dpfi dizzy plug, voila.

I found a solution. Go to Rywire.com and buy one of their distributor jumpers with a 8pin male on it. Cut the other plugs off since you wont be needing them, and simply solder the resistor box plug in their place. Now you have a cool little plug and play harness where you will never have to manipulate the dead end plug ever again!!!!!!!!!

Since I will be copying you here I got just one more question. Your power wire on the green plug...is it going to the 4 injector wires or the 4 left over wires?

If you want the P&P because you want the option to swap back to stock, you're not really thinking. You have to do a LOT more work removing the injectors, taking the kit off, going back to a stock tune. More than enough to make it easier to just not swap back.

The other reason there isn't a 'JDM adapter' peice is because there are already 1000cc saturated injectors. People simply pay a little bit extra for saturated vs P&H injectors.

If you insist, go search the regional thread for your area, there is always someone with tons of old wiring harnesses. I have the same sort of plug shown, and for stock injectors I have a simple jumper wire on a 2nd connector. Unplug resistor box plug, connect jumper plug. I did that mainly since it was a harness made for a resistor box, but was moved to a car with stock injectors. Only reason.

the 4 left over (power) all go to the 1 yellow/black wire @ the green plug

if u do a continuity check (ohms) from the injector plugs to the dead plug, you will find which wires go to the red/black.

if you look at the pic closely all the wires with red tape are the ones that go to red/black. They are on one side of the plug and are the side closest to the driver fender

to bad i don't live near a pic a part, i could make money off of this

if you need another pic on which ones, i can

Why solder when you can depin and repin
Mine only required one wire to be soldered, the rest way depin repin. And looks a lot cleaner, IMO. Not trying to bash or anything. What ever gets the job done.
