92integ fuel pump removal HELP ME

Default 92integ fuel pump removal HELP ME

i'm trying to replace my fuel pump on my 92 integ w/ b16. i removed the seat and silver cover over the pump but i cant get the damn thing out. i'm stuck on that step. can anyone help me? i believe its an obd1. do i have to drop the tank?

uh...have you relieved the fuel pressure yet?...You need to do that before you start anything or it can get dangerous in a hurry.

yes, i took care of the pressure, i let it run till it died. what do i do next. i finally got the dust cover off the 'pump' and when i lifted it up, i saw the bottom of the tank and no pump. just two metal wires with a couple of items attached to it, neither had any fuel lines or anything attached to it. i think it was to measre the gas level.

I don't really want to write out a full step by step...but seriously invest in a Helms or at least a Haynes manual...you will need to drop the tank.

that's the sending unit under the back seat. to get to the pump you have drop the tank like BMXman.
