white silicon on tires
I know that Im probz going to get a lot of
for posting this here but I have a question for you guys. I have black slips with 215/50/16 Dunlop Direzza DZ101's on them and I have always liked the look of white letters on the sidewall. I have painted them before using duplicolors tire pens and after the first wash it flakes off or yellows so my question is do you think that white silicon would adhere to the rubber and stay white? Im just thinking that this may work due to its flexibility. If not I have a can of white Testors model car paint that I guess I'll use but I'm assuming that will just flake off eventually also
Thanks for the help and hopefully someone will have some input on whether this would work or not...

Ha, no just kidding. I dont see why it wouldnt work. The first thing that comes to mind is how often you spray tire shine, because that really cause problems with the silicone adhearing. But if you could somehow clean it really well with soap and water - it think it should stick.
