Default mounting slim fans

I just got a godspeed radiator for my 96 gsr. I'm thinking of getting slim fans to put on it.

What size do you guys recommend and how would I be able to mount these on my radiator?

1700 cfm fan and you get washers and zip ties. put the fan where you want it. the put a washer on the ziptie, run it through the fan and through the fins till it comes out the other side. then another washer and cut the locking end off the other ziptie tighten, and repeat.

Most slim fans come with sufficient mounting hardware. Some of them even come with instructions!

not mishimoto. Maybe other people had better luck, but i bought a radiator and a fan from them as a kit and it didn't include mounting hardware. I called them up and they said it was sold seperatly.

I got slim fans to fit my turbo manifold in. Used the zip tie method. Put a hole in my rad.

Save yourself the headache and buy the mounting hardware.

I had a slim fan on my Jeep Wrangler for 5 years with the mounting hardware that came with the fan. Basically plastic rods that stuck through the radiator fins. It worked great and I never EVER had a problem with over heating. Actually i had the opposite problem, couldn't get it to heat up in the winter for about 30minutes of driving.

I'm not even sure where you buy the mounting hardware. Does it usually come with the slim fans when you buy it?

You can buy the fan hardware at most auto stores. I know I bought a few of them from my local Advanced Autoparts store. Ive seen them at O'reilys as well.
