Here are some b4 and after pics of my 1992 eh2 b4 and after paint....i went with habanero red pearl very happy with the color...the car is a work in progress so there are a few missing parts most are on order

Oh Boy, that color is hot do you know the color coce? im getting my EJ1 painted that color in the spring did you buy the paint yourself? if so what kinda paint did you buy for them to spray, like what brand?

I was searching your recent posts for goodies you might have for sale and found this. LOL! What kinda motor does she got? Whats the plan?

I want to pic up one of those shells too, to put my old D16y7 into and turbo it.
The paint looks very nice, although I can't tell if those are reflections on the side mirror or chips of paint missing. $419 not bad!! I may have to paint mine too.

BTW, My motor (JRSC D16y8) I got from you is doing awesome and I love it!! I fixed that belt slippage problem. All I had to do is add one washer to the idler pulley. I wish I knew that way before.

I still want to show you and take you for a spin!

The color code is YR-557P, One day paint and body made the paint for me...im pretty sure it was duepont paint.. 3yr war for $419

nice to hear from you and good to here the SC'ed y8 is doing good

I picked this car up for $300 with no motor also was an auto from a friend that blew the old motor..and let it sit for over a year with no plans....a friend at work has a towing bus and towed it to my house for me...where it sat for a few weeks while i saved up for the swap D16z6 and an auto to manual swap...once i got the $$ I barrowed a trailer from a friend and we pulled it down to victor and let him do his magic 3 days later it was running...went down and drove it home.

waited over 3 months for my tax check (got lost somewhere) and finally got it painted...also gutted the rear and made a custom floor and carpeted it..and a full black inter swap...the motor came with a DC header and AEM intake other than that i plan to just drive it for now, maybe turbo it some day...it runs on 87 octane and constantly gets 33mpg city... so it beats the heck outta the R fule wise...also has yanoka coilovers on it that i plan to change out asap...rides like ish

 

That color looks good man! I actually just picked up 3 quarts in ppg to to do my ED6. And at $166 a quart you do the math. But thats not what i paid I get discounts. Hananero Red FTW!

Hey if you ever hear about another shell like yours for cheap let me know. I want to have a project to put my old D motor in. Then TURBO Vrooom..

Let me know if you have any more parts for my 2000 civic that I may be interested in.

BTW how much does Vic charge for the Auto to manual swap for the pedals only?
