we have a k-series to GM adapter plate here at Mazworx, but i'm assuming the bolt pattern is different. we can make the plate you're looking for no problem though. all we would need is a bell housing or a junk block that we can probe.

Have you taken a look at the amount of tunnel that needs to be removed/relocated? The t400 is a wide transmission and also heavy. Allot of the super stock guys run a t350 depending on the power you make. The other thing you need to consider is DO NOT mess around with some budget rebuild. These will come apart/explode at high rpm. SEEN it and it was ugly at best. Unfortunately the only trans that does fit rather well doesn't seem to like the RPM either and that is the C4 ford trans. Can be made more then strong enough but have some sort of the seal issue that afffect a clutch pack above 8000 from what I have been told from someone that builds some pretty bullet proof ones. That was about a year or so ago so maybe things have changed. I know they have been running them on the modular motors and they spin them.

Why not look into a G-Force T-56, pretty much a T-56 dogbox with all g-force internals. Maybe even a powerglide like the supra guys.

We are in the middle of all the development for the plate then we will be testing it on our S2000, once everything goes well we will have a in stock off the shelf complete kit availible to the public, we will offer it with all mounts, adapter plate, and torque converter/flyplate and as a complete kit with the addition of a built transmission and shifter. Im not a sponser on here so not really going to go into any other details, if any one has any questions please feel free to pm me.

in for this.

I LOVE the th400 and have built a few... I don't think a stock F20 could spin one

If someone pulled this off the work would be out of control

If this is the S2K Im thinking of its definetley NOT lackin the HP and TQ department

I think I saw it on supraforums

I too am as we speak putting my built chevy trans in my SC300, lots of hammering, shaving, and good use of a port-a-power spreader fits like factory now tho
