15x6.5 +17 fit on a EF hatch?
In my opinion, anything down to +35 could be considered 'agressive' or 'sporty', and anything lower than that is just plain impractical, problematic, showy, and against all the great engineering thought that makes a Honda better than the next econobox... in other words: bling.
Just my opinion, and I'm an old guy.

i say get them and if they don't fit make them fit. so you better start rolling the rears. and you may need a rear camber kit to give it a little negative camber. here's a picture of mines 15x7 +17 with 10mm spacers and a camber kit.

i can go with a lower offset and wider wheels. notice that i rolled the rears.
here's a picture without camber kits and no spacers
