Hey Folks,

My 98 accord has been having intermittent a/c cooling. The car will cycle between cooling and ambient temp. It generally stays cooling longer but the cycling is getting annoying. Has anyone ever had this problem? Could it be the compressor clutch engaging and disengaging?

I have had it. It was because my freon was low, and the compressor cycles on and off. It was annoying at idle speeds, like when I am at lights and such, it feel like it would kill the engine.

Mine has a slow leak, which I need to top up my freon every year.
