Default Question regarding 2000 civic lowering springs

I have S tech Tein springs on my 2000 civic ex right now. I want to switch the TEIN spring with stock civic springs. Will I need to get a new rubber stop for the stock springs because the rubber stop I have on my car right now is cut to fit the lowered TEIN springs. You answer is much appreciate it.

If I don't get a new stock rubber stop and use the cut one with the stock civic springs. What will be the negative affect if I do this?

If you do not replace it then it might be a bit harsher when you bottom out your suspension because that extra bit of travel on the bump stop is gone. Personally I wouldn't worry about it.

I am assuming the Tein's were used on your stock struts to lower your car and now you want to go back to a stock height and install the stock springs. You can use the cut down bump stops and it will not hurt a thing. The only reason you cut them in the first place is to give your car an extra inch of travel which was lost when you lowered it.
