Default pic request:itr evo hood

Doesn't have to be carbon. I will probably paint it. I need to vent my engine bay because I track the car and things are melting. Thanks

Sounds like you have more issues than you think. Buying a vented hood may not solve your heating problems if things are melting.

haha^. Ya the fan wires and dipstick are melting after extended track beatings also the old fan shroud used to get soft to the touch but I ripped that **** out. Why is the evo hood ugly? If it was champ white I think it would be cool. Trust me I'm not a ricer just looking for a solution. I've got the hood propped but I hate the look of it. I have a dual stage bc and on the straights I run full power 19-20 psi so there is alot of heat built up under there.

Hood prop looks good, in my opinion. It is as close to stock as it gets. Evo hood ricey looking. try the invader hood thats not too bad.

Are you using heat wrap?

If you're not.......I would suggest it plus the evo hood

Good Luck

thats one of your problems right there, a proper radiator with fan (spal/ fal) along with a good shroud will help alot with underhood temps, i believe tony1 is the only one selling something like that right now though

I have a full size rad and a flexalite 12 slim fan with shroud. Coolant temps are right on where they should be. Think I'm going to make my own evo hood out of the oem one I need a project to keep me from drinking so much damn delicious beer.
