synchros are located towards the middle of the page.

 

so those synchros toward middle of the page are the kit?

If it's been grinding for a while, then you'll need more than just a set of synchro rings. I recommend replacing the 1-2 synchro set (hub, sleeve, rings, springs).

Reverse gear is fine as long as the teeth are straight and don't have any burrs. Rounding off at the tip where it engages the 1-2 synchro sleeve and mainshaft is normal.

ohh my mechanic told me that i had to replace the synchro. he told me just to buy the synchro kit. but i dont no where to get it. im looking around. any shop you guys know other than the dealer?

 

help this fellow out. having the same problem
