Default cbr600rr shogun frameslider installation

I just recently picked up a set of shogun frameslider kit for my 2006 cbr600rr. I know that i have to cut through the fairing but can anyone give the the instruction to do so? Like what kind of tool should i use and how to cut precisely. Some good instruction with pictures would be great. thanks.

Get a hole-saw with a diameter slightly larger than the frame slider. You can find them at Lowe's for a few bucks. Put tape on the fairing where you will drill to keep the cut clean.

Put the fairing on the bike and measure where you will put the hole 4 or 5 times, because if you don't measure just right you will have a big hole in your fairing. Drill a small pilot hole first to make sure you are in the right place, then once you are happy drill the large hole.

use a hole-saw bit slightly larger than the slider puck, do they not make no-cuts for the 06 rr? This is what I did when on my old f4i. remove the fairing and install the frame slider bolt, and use a laser pointer with a tripod. Aim the laser directly at the center of the bolt and be careful to not move the bike, use a rear stand and push front against a wall or something if you are without a front stand. without moving the bike, install the fairing and mark the point, use the laser point as the center of the hole-saw bit.

I used a laser pointer as well. Worked like a charm. There's a clay method too, but I've never looked too much into it.
