Anyone know why my car is so hard to start on cold start. If you don't drive the car for awhile and the motor cools off then you try to start it, it will crank but won't start. the spark plugs are pretty new(NgK V-tip) spark plugs. When it actually starts it'll rev up to 1500 and then die off. Anyone got any clues?

 

bad injectors?

 

wouldn't it run sluggish if the injectors are bad? Once you get it to actually start and warm up, it runs fine.

 

It's supposed to run really really high when you have a cold start. wtf is that sensor called? seriously, why can't i remember it? There is a sensor and for the life of me i forgot which one that tells the car to run higher. When you get it started next time, give it a little gas, slowly, and see if that helps. if it does then your sensor is bad. This is going to bother me all day because i know it's stupid and easy.

 

yea i give it gas slowly and it starts up but if i give it too much gas it bogs and dies.
