stock honda bikes with single sided swing arms?
i saw a bike in the parking lot, looked completley stock. and it had 4 lug nuts holding the wheel on.
so it did'nt look like an aftermarket sssw conversion.

-its not fast
-low rpm power is weak due to the vtec-e like system

its still an 800cc bike that will do the quarter in low 11 seconds.
the older ones are non vtec, thats what i would look into.
yes they get great gas mileage

I love my Viffer....04 800 VTEC...gets great mileage when cruising, powerband is very nice for city driving, good torque, very comfortable...but it is a big bike.

Two of those three are blatantly false.
The fuel mileage is pretty good for a sporty 800cc steed.

Power wise the VFR is probably not a bad beginner bike, but the weight of it and the cost of repairing damage does make it a bad beginner bike.
It weighs almost 500lbs, whereas my SV weighs at least 80 lbs less.
When you lay it down you're going to lay it down on to its fairings and its side mounted radiators.

more of a sport/sport touring bike. Ride it cross country as is or take to the track as is. It's whatever you want it to be
