The S380/S480 is a VERY large turbocharger that unless the Honda is specifically for drag racing only, is not really at all effective, therefore it is not used on the street. In addition, NHRA rules prohibit the use of any turbocharger larger than 72mm for B-series, and 68mm for K-series.

In order to use that turbocharger on the street, in this case, there is no replacement for displacement. Most of the Honda/Mitsu camp stay about the S372 size.

Its for a Drag only VW. I guess the question is compressor wheel inducer size wasn't a limitation, would there be a great advantage using the s380 over the S372 ?

Tell me you have a MKI GTI with a 1.8T in it... Cause if you do, that's freaking awesome!

That is a huge turbo for an inline four 2.X. Tony is a little loco so he may try it. I thought he was going for a 74mm Largest turbo I have seen or used on a 2.4 liter was an Innovative 76mm. I forget what turbine wheel
