so i got my old alternator off my d16y8 and was wondering if i could use it on my b16?

 

yes you can make it work. you'll need to experiment with some different belts but it can work.

no i just bought a bunch at kragen then found the one i needed and returned the other 10 or so. i just bought every size in between the sohc and dohc alternator sized belt just get the right alternator though. that was only a fix for the weekend when i got the correct one i was 10,000x happier. maybe i just don't like half assing stuff.

 

is it a pain in the *** to be changing them over and over

 

nah takes like 2 seconds

 

would the d seires alternator work fine on the b16?
