Default Short ride report (link to advrider)

I made a quick run around some local seasonal use roads today on my brother's CB360, I know most of the people here are into sportbikes, but maybe a few of you would like to see this:

I tried taking a lot of photos in typical ADVrider fashion, let me know what you think.

I for one like to read your trip reports, and I'm always glad to to see folks out enjoying older bikes. Please continue what you've been doing

Well done... One day I'll pick up a cruiser/beater bike... or maybe a motard/dual purpose for these sort of adventures.

+1 on that

Like others said, it's fun to see someone really getting off the paved road and exploring a bit. I don't know how far out there I'd go without a riding partner, for safety reasons of course, but props to you for be adventurous.

Thank you all for the kind words. I'm planning on going on a 'dual-sport' ride with some local guys this Sunday, I'll try to take some cool pictures, maybe even some action shots.

I'm also in the process of looking for a dual-sport motorcycle. While The CB is very fun and nice on the road, gravel roads are really pretty much the limit in terms of terrain it can handle. Also, I don't want to be beating on such a nice example of a classic Honda.

That ATV trail I took a picture of is something I'd love to ride on a more capable bike.

I've been scouring the local craigslists for something like a DR200-DR350, maybe a Yamaha XT225 or a XT350. I've even considered getting an old 2-stroke enduro, something along the lines of a DT250, but I gotta say, 2 strokes just put me off with their ring-ding exhaust notes and smokey exhaust. Chinese rip-offs are also an option, but one I'd like to be able to avoid.
