okay so this morning i start up my 91 crx(1.5) and put her into reverse so i can back out my drive way. its grinds into reverse and tries to take off with my foot still holding the clutch in so i shut it off. i checked the cable to see if it was borken and it seemed as though it was in good working order but the pedal doesnt feel like it has any resistance and it wont go into any gear. i tried tightening the cable and have gotten nowheres. any ideas as to what it may be?

 

that sounds like a broken clutch cable to me.. or it stretched out really bad..
