Default How hard is rear spring installation on Ep3 (2002 si)

Hey guys....

I'm pretty much a noob at doing anything myself, I just lowered the front of my car by putting new springs (TEIN S TECHS)... and it took me forever because A) I'm a noob and that was my first time installing anything on a car, B) Both axles popped.... nuff said...

So I have been driving raked for couple of months now... and I want to finally install the rear springs.... but my question is... Is it as much pf a bitch as the fronts? Cuz if so I might as well get someone else to do it for me....

Rear is half as hard as the front.

two on top one on bottom besides being tough to reach without a proper extension or deep socket, its 10x easier than the front.

Not always true, especially since OP is from New England. The rear LCA bolt likes to seize inside the bushing and become extremely hard to remove.

Cracking a bolt is way easier than seperating the outer tie rod.

Either way, we should be grateful our suspension isn't set up like an Accord...

The lca bolt was easy to get off for me but I had trouble with one of the nuts in the trunk. I ended up rounding it but I had that craftsman rounded bolt remover and I just replaced the nut.

It was ten times easier than the front though. I hate that the tie rods are connected to the struts.
