difference between 17x8 +35 offset and 17x8 +45? what does it mean blahhhhhhh

if i understand it correctly (and believe me, it's taking me a while to actually get it as i read it right now), a +45 means the mounting hub is 10mm further out from the center of the wheel, than the +35

right ? i hope... i keep reading things over and i'm still not sure

i never really cared too much about buying rims but now that i see people with nice wheel setups it gets me very interested in it..

correct, +35 means the wheel will mount 35 mm past the center of the wheel; +45, 45 mm past the center. So the 17x8+35 will stick out 10mm further than the +45 offset. And I believe a 17x8+35 will put the wheel just about flush with the fender.

so.. to get a nicer agressive stance.. i would have to go with the +35?
