thinking about trying a spot repair since i have literally 4oz of basecoat left. i've done total jobs, pannel repair and whatnot but i have never done a spot. from what i gather you mask the area, prep it, shoot the base, then the clear. wait for it to dry and then cut and buff the clear to fade it into the rest of the clear. anyone ever do this? tips & pointers welcome.
