how to replace cv joints on a 95 accord 4 cylinder
i have a 95 accord 4 cylinder. my front cv joints are clicking and clanking really bad every time a turn. i want to replace them my self, i was wondering if anyone knew what the steps were for replacing them? please help!
in a nutshell
loosen lugs
use breaker bar or impact wrench to remove wheel nut
raise front up
support on jack stands
remove wheel
remove lower ball joint from spindle
rotate wheel out
remove axle from wheel
remove axle from trans
reverse to install and then do the other side

lift upwards from the balljoint - I used a ratchet to pry/pop it up since it was stuck

you may have to pry the one from the tranny, mine broke in 2 pieces so I used a screwdriver to pop the tranny one out

maneuver it through the fork and around all the crap down there
reverse to install and then do the other side</TD></TR></TABLE>
Also note that they sometimes don't want to go in all the way into the tranny, I pushed the outside boot into the bearing then pushed hard as hell and it slid all the way in.

i dont mean to threadjack but i was changing the axle on my accord and inside the boot the little ***** keep like popping out of the holds there posta be in? its almost like the axle is too short but i compared it side by side with the old one and there identical. any ideas?????
