Default Top Fuel Injector help

ok my car idles kinda ruff and lacks power
its a 1991 Civic HB 4spd d15b1 ,i thought it might be the fuel injectors so i unplugged the top fuel injector and nothing happened plugged it back in unplugeed the bottom one and it died, so does that mean my top ones dead??i also switched the plugs for the injectors and as soon as i hit the gas it died,any help would be nice

the top fuel injector is only for when the engine can't get enough fuel from the main bottom fuel injector, so at best your test was inconclusive. Switching the plugs is a really bad idea, because of what I have already mentioned.

the best process for troubleshooting a rough idle is to follow the manual's recommendations for rough idle issues. If you don't have a manual.. you should search around on the internet for an electronic copy, or just buy a new oem one from helminc.com
