So i'm getting a gsr swap done locally (hopefully). Was originally going to try jerrybuilt but this is local and actually cheaper.


Heres the tech.... i want to make sure the engine isn't going to be a dud. He does warranty all labor related items but the engine he cant. Is there anything I can do aside from a compression test to make sure the engine isn't going to crap out?

Any advice is appreciated.


I searched and most of the things that came up (first 5 pages) were all about people with swap problems not so much a FAQ on what to look for.
