i have a 98 teggy 2dr with s2k silver paint.. no wing.. shaved emblems and moldings.. i have a itr front lip and have kept my amber corners in. and its got white mugen mf10l rims

question: Im getting a CF hood.. should i repaint the itr front lip flat black with some spray paint? or leave it alone? if someone could photoshop to help me. i'd be very thankful.

ouch.. the cf hood was going to be free..

so a no-no? hmm.. what about the cf hood.. and paint like 95% of it.. and leave a lil showing? heehee

my hood has a small dent in in.. and im getting $$ for it.. so thats why i was thinking a OEM looking cf hood.. =/

 

well yeah..since the hood will be FREE.. might as well just spend the money you save, and paint the hood.. i mean..its just my opinion, i hate when cars have CF hoods.. but if i were you. just have the OEM hood repaired..and sell that CF hood to some JDM queer for $400

 

i say put the CF hood on, o ya and ur pic doesnt work, otherwise i'd photoshop it

Pleeeeeeaaaaase dont spray paint ur lip black.

 

it looks sooo clean as it is.. dont do it!

 

I normally would always say, "get a carbon fiber hood and DONT PAINT IT!" But they are right, your car is super clean, and I think it would look a little awkward with a black hood and lip. I would suggest getting the hood (just cause it is free, and it will weigh less, obviously), and painting it completely the same color as the car. Very nice ride!

if you get carbon fiber hood your car would look better w/ darker rims.

 

darker rims w/ c/f combo is a good idea.
your car is clean, but i kinda like the c/f hood + lip.
