ILoveJDM.'s 1992 GS-R Build Thread
Disclaimer: This will be my first attempt toward a complete overhaul, majority of the work will be done by myself, a few close friends, and online resources. Problems will surely arise, questions will seek answers, and more importantly, support and patience is certainly required!
As most of you are aware of, this car holds a decent rariety factor; From its Aztec Green paint, its B17A1 powerplant, to its distinctive features that differ it from the crowd. Thus providing me with the motivation for this thread!
After finding myself content with my current DD, I stumbled across this 1992 Acura Integra GS- R... With 2 hours of driving and 3K gone, my journey home began as it was now my headache...

Ive never really adressed my plans and/or goals with this project, so I am going to take the time to do so now.
Complete overhaul of the exterior; removing any blemishes, respray, partial wire-tuck... Basically taking this car back to its showroom condition in 1992.
Interior will mainly focus on the DB2's stock form; minus a partial wire-tuck, respray, under-hood fuse box relocation and distinct detail.
Suspension is still questionable; Full coilovers, camber kits, LCA's, etc. Just the basics...
Power is totally opposite of most... I actually want to keep this car OEM, function and form! I have yet to decide whether I want to rebuild now, or save that for a later funding... Basically OEM external rebuild, clean-up, and run-through for any issues needing adressed.

can't wait to see up dates..some gsr or ctr cams would be a nice upgrage and OEM considering the pr3 cams from that year are one of the weakest honda made. and the low compression of 9.6 or so that the b17 produced is also the weakest vtec model piston. something along the lines of a p30, p73 or pct(ctr) pistons would be OEM and make better power. Good luck
Finally had a chance to sit down at the computer and do some catching up!
Picked up a few supplies to get me started!

I began with my
(wavey) fenders, also touched base on the doors and mirrors prior to the "move"...
A few things worked out in my favor and the 250,000 square foot building (Vacant department store... With an automotive portion aswell!
) that my dad takes care of was now in my posession for the remainder of this build! Which means no more sharing of the business garage for me!!!
Some quick pics as we began moving into the new workshop and tearing down panels!
