Why would someone do this? For the appearance alone? It would be murder to see out the back window in the rain without the wiper.

aesthetics, besides they invented rainx and for the most part i rarely use my rear windshield wiper as it is and that's about 98% of the time rain or not. I'm not deleting mine btw.

Check ebay, the plugs for any other honda/acura should work but for sure the ones for the integra as well.
I deleted mine because ya I don't use it and I was surprised at how good it looked once it's gone.
It's not somehting you notice in itself but when it was gone I kept taking second glances at my car thinknig "wow that looks really smooth" didn't really nnotice the wiper gone in particluar but overall the car looks nicer.

is it the same as the rear wiper delete plug on a DC2 ? like you can just pull one out of a firewall or where ever ( as long as its the same diameter as hole ) and use ?

I know I use it every time it rains.

Or snows, which is once every four years.
