Default da coilovers on a dc

Just a quick question im sure theres a simple yes or no answer but maybe not I need to know if tein full coilovers from a da will fit on a dc or are the front forks diff. etc? My buddy wants to buy a used set from a guy for a killer deal whom drives a da and doesn't know if they would fit?

they will not bolt right in...the shock bodies have different diameters...the DA's are larger

Are you talking about struts and the coilovers? Or just the coilovers?

The struts and coilover sleeves in one (see above: Full Tein Coilovers), It seems like i'd just have to use the DC forks but i could be wrong. My searches came up as only DC to DA not the other way around and on there it said as long as their not from a dc2r chassis then they would only need dc front forks to work on a da so i figure that if you just reversed that then they would still work on a DC. I have no clue if this assumption is correct so let me know?

yeah it will work if you use dc front forks but there is a good chance you will have clearance issues...here's a link that should help out a lot.
