Hey guys. I am having two (possibly independent) problems with my car. For starters its a 94 civic ex. 130k. I recently had the ac and heater core put back in, when i got the car back, it was blowing white smoke from the exhaust. I cant definitely say the sm0oke smells like antifreeze, but it does have a smell to it. I filled the reservoir and the overflow bottle and it is definitely either burning or leaking antifreeze. All signs point to bad head gasket or cracked head but it is weird to me that it happened immediately after getting the ac installed and having not been driven at all. I checked compression and all four cylinders had good compression , between 130-140, (but the car wasnt warm yet would this make a difference?)

A second problem that I have been having since the ac and heat getting put back in is that sometimes the car doesnt want to start at all. It turns over fine and battery is good, but I'm getting absolutely no response to the gas pedal. If i pump the pedal or floor it while its turning over it doesnt bog down or flood, it seems that the gas isnt flowing at all, and sometimes if i just let it sit awhile and try again, it starts right up. I'm not sure if this problem is related to the smoke or not, but I will say the seems to run and drive fine, other than the smoke. Any help anyone could lend me would be awesome.
