im pretty sure its just called a pin. more specifically shift linkage spring pin.

no it has a name were you can ask for it at a hard wear store

 

ohh didnt know you were gonna pick it up at the hardware store. try tension or roll pin. no local auto parts stores have it in stock??

edit: just did a google search on roll pin. its a tension or roll pin if youre looking for it at the hardware store.

I rememeberd that i posted a thread about this like my last engine swap! and i searched and and guess what it came up Roll pin/Spring pin and as you just added Tension pin
