problem when auto shifts to second

i have a 99 civic lx with an auto tranny and when i take off and the transmission shift to the next gear it makes a squeak noise and it sounds like its coming from the driver side i dont know what can make this noise from the driver side i was thinking it was the motor mount but it squeaks after its in gear any thoughts will help thanks

i dont think it has to do with the tranny i am just saying i hear the squeak noise after it shifts into the next gear ike air escaping kind of

That sounds kind of odd, I don't think your tranny is going bad from the info you posted, Honda automatics aren't smooth, they don't handle boost well at all and they sure as hell aren't built for performance. But they will normally pretty much last forever.
