do alot of people steal s2000
just wondering because when i get one
i dont wanna park at school and somone could get a kife and stab the back windshield because it isnt glass its a type of plastic and where my school is in a bad area so please tell me if they do get stolen like dc2's or not

 

no, their parts are not really interchangeable with any other cars. If they do get stolen, its for their seats, steering wheel and accessories

I really never worried about my S2000 until I got it boosted.... I would be more worried about jealous kids at school messing with it.

 

16 and drive an S2000, yea I would watch out!!

 

i wouldnt watch out really that much right now, but since the price is going down on s2000's... 'unlawful people' as i will call them, are starting to be able to afford them... so i wouldnt just disregard theft all together. get an alarm, fuel cut, steering wheel, etc if you want (depending on how secure you want your car to be)

agreed till they make f2k adapter plate available to the street then it will get stolen for the longblock

 

You'll probably get your car vandalized than stolen. Plenty people have had their tops slashed and seats stolen.

He had the car for a year and only owed 4K on it when it was sold two months ago...

Young guys can make really good money these days if you know what you are doing. Especially if you are living with your parents and have no other bills. I am not talking about illegal stuff either.

 

true about us young kidds having decent amount of money by living with parents. you would get alot of haters in the parking lot from the other kids at school.. just get there a little early to school to get the best parking like i use to do it. good luck

Think about it, if your living at home and 17, if you hardcore saved, you could easilly buy a s2k in cash by the time you went to college/went off to work ft after hs.

Better than blowing it all on beer imo
