So I was wondering if you guys could help me or give me a few pointers... I just got a 97 del sol with the b16 dohc vtec motor in it... Car was completely stock when purchased and all I have done was put a GReddy catback exhaust and lowering springs on it... First week I had it, it ran perfect... All of a sudden I keep getting this sputtering feeling at low throttle like its misfiring... Doesnt always do this but it happens quite often.... It also seems to do it if your just cruising and give it more than 1/2 throttle, if you ease into it it seems to be fine and revs out.... I also have been noticeing that it doesnt really do it when the engine is cool, only after it has been driven for a moment.... I havent really had a chance to check the plugs but I really dont think thats the problem.... I DONT get a check engine light at all, and yes I made sure the light works.... I'm thinking its the tps sensor but I dont wanna just start buying parts for no reason... If anyone has any ideas please let me know.... Thanks

Check, wires, cap, rotor, then injectors. Might be the dizzy taking a dump. 2 of mine did the exact same thing before they failed....

 

Check your spark plugs then check all of that ^. Plugs tell a LOT.
