Making a short ram out an aem v2?
I was thinking about taking my v2 and cutting it up by the top and converting it into a short ram until I get a new intake. I recently had a hydrolock scare and I just wanted a temporary solution.
Bad idea?

how bout you avoid puddles that MAY be deeper than 6 inches? that would be better... if not, i'll trade you my intake for yours!!

it doesn't work with the v2.

i got the same intake and for a while i jus took the filter itself off and went out and bought a pvc bend section put it right on the silicone cupler. sounded pretty sick.

It works for the v1 but not the v2. Kinda lame. I would just pick one up if I could. I would just take the filter off and put it where the coupler is, but unfortunately it couples right by the header. Seems kinda silly.
