flame me all you want just need an answer to my question. when should vtec kick in on my d16?

I think its 4800 Rpms. I had a d16z6 in my 92 si' about a week ago until i swapped it.

if its in a place that it has a "kick" move it, you dont want to hear/feel vtec.

Its not like he can hear or feel his VTEC kick. Sohc vtecs pretty weak.

Good advice if you want to hear/feel Vtec: get a dual-cam vtec swap

i have a h22 and my crossover is perfect, can hardly hear it, although you can feel it.

future plans a b18c1 or an h22 but like i said future. just starting out so gonna have fun with my SOHC

If you want quick power. You should go Single cam VTEC turbo. My homie has a setup hes pushing 160whp at 8 psi and its pretty dam quick.
