Default Megan headers or Dc headers?

Are megan headers as good as dc? I trying to buy one but I seen a stainless steel megan header 4-1. They only sell the dc ceramic coating and they dont make the stainless steel ones anymore. what should I go with? any other suggestions?

Ive always heard bad about megan products in general ive heard their headers hang low , and Ive also heard that ceramic headers crack go with a greddy header I got mine from http://www.nolimitmotorsports.com great customer service easy to deal with and fast shipping other places i tried ordering from said they were on back order with no eta nolimit said they order straight from Greddy so im guessing the other people i tried to order from wernt authorized Greddy dealers since they werent even on the Greddy web site and nolimit was. I first tried ordering DC but every plcae said that DC got bought out so their stuff is on back order too with no ETA

its a header not headers its singular not plural...go with dc if those are your only 2 choices the only header u will notice any power out of would be a bisimoto header or a tri-y

no just because it's stainless steel does not make it good. it's the maker like one you listed rmf or bizzzzzzi

From my experience, Megan Racing parts aren't that bad, however, for the budget-minded, I think I would rather save a little bit and get some GReddy or DC headers. Or, you could just get a nice used set of headers for around the same price of new Megan headers.

the OP isnt going to need a SET of HEADERS....only needs one HEADER and he should think about what he plans on doing with the motor. because if he boosts it he will need to replace the header anyway (thats y i havent replaced my stock one already, waiting for turbo header)
so OP if u r going to keep it N/A then yes save and spend the little extra cashish on the bizzi and if u plan to turbo it later on down the road then just wait and get the turbo header when u need it

OP that is true if you are going to turbo wait to replace it with the turbo manifold if you are going all motor save up and get something better

no, you will not get gains like this from just throwing a dc header on your d16

Since you're in CA, you have to get the DC header because as far as I know, only DC offers a header with a CARB EO# (correct me if I'm wrong, please). Of course you could still buy an aftermarket header and if/when you get pulled over and sent to the referee, you could swap over your stock header so you could pass emissions.

But it doesn't matter, regardless of the brand, because it's just a header and you're not going to get much out of it.

People commonly think that removing the stock exhaust manifold in place of a "Racing Header" is going to yield good results on their stock motor. Honestly, if this were my car, i would save my money. Buying NA parts for an otherwise stock engine is a total waste of time and money. If you have to buy one, get one that is cheap and wont fall apart. You're not going to gain much, if any power so dont waste too much money...

go with the hytech header, more hp gains, and its cheaper than the DC header.
