Default DO 97-98 Ecu have a milder map that a 00-01 ECU

Well after countless hours with my mechanic last night and today we came to the conclusion that you cant wire a imobi in a car not equiped with one So after paying all this money for this crap I had to go back to acura and raised hell and got them to refund my money and give me a 98 ITR ECU.

I was wondering since the intake cam is slightly milder on the 97-98 that the 00-01 is the fuel map and what not milder? I hope not becasue I have a 01 ITR motor and that would **** me off to loose power to the damn imobi unenabling me to use a 00-01 ECU . Oh and yes I could take the imobi out but who wants to trow a cell on all day long on a 7K + motor you just baugt I dont I want ot know if something is wrong.

So is ther much difference or any at all besides the Imobi

Oh anybody run the comptech rechiped ECU for 97-98 ITR's?

Thanks
CHRIS
