I was planning on mounting some but there is no place to mount them. I would like some pictures of your hatch rear speaker set up. Thanks

theres a set of panels in the back, on the sides, you can remove these and buy the version from honda with speaker grilles as well as the rear speaker brackets, they aren't cheap but its definately the cleanest solution.
I'm no Honda Guru but I think that with the hatchbacks (especially the lower models) the rear speakers were optional accessories from Honda. I have a 92 VX and I do have them (they're 5.25" speakers btw) so I guess the previous owner bought the accessory. So here are the options that I see you have. Call/go to your local junk yard and try to find a 92-95 hatch with the rear speakers, take the brackets and the grill so that way you can mount them into your car. I'm not sure if you even have the wiring so you may need to wire in some rear speakers.... Or order everytihng from the dealer and if they're cool like my guys they play it off as a wholesale and you get it cheaper! Good luck man.
OR you could go bad@$$ and get the Gathers set off of Ebay and get 4 rear speakers. JDM SON!!!!!!

'94 and '95 Si hatchbacks came standard with rear speakers, they were a dealer option on all other hatchbacks, Its very rare to find them at a junkyard, all '92 - '95 hatchbacks are prewired for rear speakers. They take 6.5" round speakers although 5.25" is commonly stated, ever crutchfield says 5.25" but they really are designed for 6.5". JDM gathers rear speakers are very cool, but unfortunately i'm 99.9% sure you can't use them without the rear side panels they go in as the grilles are shaped differently.

Hmmm, I tried moving over the 6.5s I had in my 88 and they didnt fit....maybe I'll go try them again because they were some expensive @$$ 4-ways!

I completely forgot about that... haha. Gotta have that $1000 for the JDM rear conversion.

thanks for all the help. I thought I might have to buy/get some speakers housings. you said all hatches had the speakers pre whired. where would I find the wires? in the tube with all the wires going to the back? and what color are they so IF i do find them I will know. Thanks Again.
Its been a long time but I think they were blue and red. Also the wire are probably somewhere behind the rear speaker panels. 94EG correct me if I'm wrong.

The wires are taped to loom running along the floor of the car, remove the stock panels and reach down, they will have a little 2 wire gray plug, wire colors are brown/white, red/yellow and blue/yellow, grey/white
